A BABY SEAL WAS BORN ON MY FIRST DAY! 🦭

Today was my very first shift volunteering at the Whale Research Eco Excursions museum & gift shop on the Oregon Coast — and the ocean decided to make it unforgettable! 🌊🐋

The biggest surprise of the day happened right at the entrance to the bay when a harbor seal gave birth to the cutest little pup on the rocks. Watching those first moments between mama and baby was absolutely incredible and something I’ll never forget.

Between meeting visitors, spending time at the museum, and witnessing one of the sweetest wildlife moments imaginable, this turned into a pretty amazing first day.

Sometimes the coast delivers a little extra magic. 🦭✨
