I CAME HOME TO THE OREGON COAST. NOW IโM GOING TO EXPLORE IT.
After twelve years in Canada, coming back to the Oregon Coast gave me a chance to rediscover and actually explore the place I call home.
I don’t get to wander off as often as I’d like. Mom doesn’t get around easily and doesn’t really like going out, Dave isn’t much of an explorer, and I don’t have a ready-made group of friends to call when I want to go somewhere. So when I do get the chance, I’m usually on my own.
That can be a little intimidating sometimes, but I’m not going to let that keep me home. Whether it’s a drive down the coast, a whale-watching trip, or simply taking a road I’ve never been down before, I’m going. ๐๐
๐ THE OREGON COAST
The coast is a pretty big backyard, and Iโm slowly working my way through it. Thereโs always another adventure to find!

๐ WHALE WATCHING
I came back to the Oregon Coast and somehow ended up volunteering with whales. Not a bad retirement plan.

๐ LITTLE ADVENTURES
Not every adventure requires a suitcase. Sometimes you just get in the car and see what happens.

THERE’S MORE TO SEE
I have a lot of coastline left to explore, plenty of places I havenโt discovered yet, and hopefully a whole lot of adventures ahead. ๐
